Professor Obi Nwosu was among the lucky prominent personalities in Nnewi community in Anambra State who have received chieftaincy title from Igwe Kenneth Onyeneke Orizu III.
The event was held at Igwe Orizu palace which attracted the presence of Nnewi community and invited guests.
Igwe orizu, the traditional ruler of Nnewi kingdom recently Conferred Chieftaincy title to about forty five individuals across Nnewi community.
The respected monarch during the occasion urged the conffed title holders to always maintain the honour and ensure that they promote peace and harmony as well as progress in Nnewi Community and society at large.
In an interview with newsmen, one of the chieftaincy title candidates, Professor Obi Nwosu disclosed that he was conferred title of Mkpa-Diliogbo.
He explained that the translation of his title in English language means a lot of things would follow after the problem has been solved, admiring 1oo years longevity of Igwe Orizu who he said is still fit to confier about forty five persons without feeling weak.
According to prof. Obi Nwosu, it is only you people and others would explain the motive behind the honour given to me. Anyway, I am a man of the people, and people of the man . So,l reach out socially.I tried to be humble as possible so that I can interact with you no matter your level in the society. I learn a lot from you and you learn from me.
He described peace as the Paramount aspect of life, saying that he always promote peace, and stand for peace even as described that he emulate Igwe orizu in peace making.
