Civil Engineer turns gospel music artiste

Gifted gospel artiste, Ernieola (Eniola) Olusoga, found her true worth in the vibrant tapestry of the gospel.

Her engineering background, surprisingly, became an asset. Just as she meticulously constructed structures, she now also diligently crafts songs, each note a brick in the edifice of her faith.

On how she began gospel music, Olusoga told Saturday Sun: “God inspired me. I’m not even trying to sound overly ‘christocentric’. But being a civil engineer and dropping that to do ministry had to be God. My musical journey started in 2010, I knew I was going to be a musician but I wasn’t seeing gospel music at the time, or even being a full time musician. But here we are. It’s been an interesting and amazing journey so far.”

Saturday Sun reports that the trained musicologist is gearing up to host the 8th edition of her annual flagship event, Word Worship Warfare (WWW). The highly anticipated gathering is scheduled to hold on Sunday January 28, 2024 at Solution Arena, Onipanu, Lagos.

On what inspired the event, Ernieola stated, “It’s solely the Holy Ghost. There’s no way in the world I would have thought of #WWW; it was 100% God’s idea.”

According to the artiste, this year’s edition themed: ‘The Prayer Festival’ is designed to empower attendees to remain consistent in their prayer lives.
