The Anambra State Government has intensified efforts to strengthen digital governance by adopting its official email domain, @anambrastate.gov.ng, across all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Anambra State ICT Agency, in a statement by its Communications and Media Lead, Mrs. Angela Nwanodu, said the initiative is designed to ensure government communications are secure, standardised and easily verifiable.
According to the agency, the unified email system will provide a trusted digital identity for government institutions, reduce the risk of impersonation and other cyber threats, while improving accountability and public confidence.
It added that the initiative aligns with Nigeria’s National Second Level Domain Policy (2022) and Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s digital transformation agenda.
The Executive Council has completed the migration, while the onboarding of all MDAs is ongoing.
