As the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Prince Dr Nicholas Ukachukwu, sets out to commence campaigns for November 8, 2025 governorship election, the Ikemba Front, the party’s support group in the State has widened its support base for him.
The National Coordinator of the group, Sir Arinzechikwu Awogu, in a statement said that they are gathering over 700 of its members across the 326 wards in the State to Awka, the State capital this Friday, June 6, to discuss its groundswell support for Ukachukwu towards the November 8, Anambra State governorship election.
Awogu said it has become imperative that they take the initiative in galvanizing their members and the Anambra voters as INEC prepares to lift ban on public campaigns on June 10, 2025.
In its memo to the members the National Coordinator said the expanded meeting would hold at its National Secretariat in Awka.
He said its presence in the 5,720 Polling Units across the state would be of huge advantage to the APC and its candidate in winning the Saturday November 8, 2025 guber election.
Meanwhile, the final list of the governorship candidates for the November election would be published on June 9, while public campaigns commences June 10, 2025.
The Prince Ukachukwu the APC candidate, said Awogu is leading in the opinion polls in the state ahead of the November election.
