Labour Party candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ven. Tochukwu Ikezue, has urged eligible residents of Anambra State to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Speaking with journalists, Ikezue encouraged youths and first-time voters to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the exercise ends on July 10.

He described voter registration as a vital civic responsibility, stressing that citizens can only influence leadership and development through active participation in elections.

The LP candidate also called on party supporters, community leaders, and stakeholders to intensify voter education campaigns at the grassroots level to ensure no eligible voter is left out.

According to him, increased voter participation will strengthen democracy, promote accountability, and help drive sustainable development in the state.
