The Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Anambra South Senatorial District, Prof. Joseph Ugboaja, has expressed confidence that Nigeria remains on the path to progress despite prevailing challenges, urging citizens to sustain their support for the current administration.

Prof. Ugboaja made this assertion during the inauguration of the RHA Orumba North Local Government Area Chapter, held in Oko community, Anambra State.

While formally inaugurating the chapter, Ugboaja, who also serves as the Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, called on indigenes of Orumba North to align with other Nigerians in backing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He maintained that the President has recorded significant strides across key sectors, particularly in infrastructure and the economy.

According to him, the administration’s “bold and courageous reforms” have begun to reposition the nation for sustainable growth.

Highlighting specific achievements, Ugboaja pointed to ongoing road construction and rehabilitation projects nationwide, as well as notable improvements in the health sector.

He cited the transformation at NAUTH, Nnewi, as evidence of the administration’s commitment to upgrading healthcare infrastructure and strengthening manpower development.

In the education sector, he referenced the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a “revolutionary initiative” that provides interest-free loans to students, thereby expanding access to higher education.

“The President has set a pace that is putting Nigeria in the right direction for economic and social emancipation.

“Though the journey to greatness is challenging, the signs are clear that Nigeria is steadily advancing, ”Ugboaja said.

He charged the newly inaugurated executives to act as ambassadors of hope within their communities, urging them to mobilize grassroots support and effectively communicate the administration’s achievements.

“As an indigene of Orumba North, I understand the expectations placed on us. I urge you to remain steadfast in delivering on this mandate. Be assured that both I and the national leadership of RHA will provide the necessary support to ensure total success,” he added.

Also speaking at the event, the Orumba North Local Government Coordinator of RHA, Chief Barr. Handel Okoli, outlined what he described as key achievements of the Tinubu administration. He linked ongoing development efforts in Anambra State, particularly within Orumba North and the Old Aguata Union (OUA), to the Federal Government’s support for Governor Charles Soludo.

Okoli noted that both visible and less apparent infrastructural and socio-economic developments in the state have been significantly bolstered by collaboration between the federal and state governments.

The event attracted party faithful, community leaders, and stakeholders, marking a renewed push by the RHA to consolidate grassroots engagement and political mobilization ahead of future electoral cycles.
