The President General of Building Materials International Market BMIM Ogidi, Chief Jude Nwankwo ,(<Ochendo Umuawulu) has congratulated His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election as the Governor of Anambra State.

Speaking to our reporter in his BMIM Ogidi office, Chief Jude Nwankwo who is also the Patron of the Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association ASMATA said that the land slide victory witnessed in the November 8, 2025 gubernatorial election was a testament of good and impactful governance.

“I, Chief Jude Nwankwo, the President General Building Materials International Market BMIM Ogidi wishes to use this opportunity to Congratulate Ndi Anambra and the Governor Elect of Anambra State, His Excellency Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo (Nwanmgbafor Oluatuegwu) for the victory well deserved in Anambra polls.

“Even before the campaigns, his numerous achievements visible for Anambrarians to see were enough to convince the people that there was no better candidate to displace him as Governor.

“So, Anambra State gave him the mandate for a second term in office last Saturday. He won last slide in the election.

“We are congratulating him and wishing him more wisdom and inspiration to do more work.

“Also, we are still pleading for him to remember and come to our rescue here in this Building Materials International Market.

“We need a pedestrian bridge across this Building Materials market connecting us with Bakery International Market to curb the recurring motor accidents happening in front of these markets because of the multitude of both traders and customer that use to criss cross the ever busy Onitsha Enugu Expressway to transact businesses in both markets. We also want to use this opportunity to remind him to come and tar the road we constructed behind BMIM connecting the Ogidi High court road that leads to the old Awka Onitsha main road. It will help decongest the heavy traffic jam always experienced in front of the Building Materials market.

“Once again, congratulations on your re-election, His Excellency. We wish you God’s guidance and protection as you continue on your vision to make Anambra State the Dubai Taiwan of Africa, “Nwankwo said.
