Njagidi Foundation in Anambra State has thrown its weight behind Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election and election of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Senatorial Candidate, Chief Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugu) in the forthcoming by-election.
The foundation disclosed this during a mega endorsement rally for Governor Soludo’s second tenure, organized by Anambra South Senatorial district on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Ekwulobia township stadium. Many support groups stormed the arena for Soludo and Nwachukwu.
Njagidi Foundation is an organization formed to help the needy, less privileged families, youths empowerment, and business promotion.
Fielding questions from journalists on behalf of Hon Ekene Nwosu the founder of the organization, Hon. C. Nwankwo, who is the general coordinator said that Governor Soludo needed maximum support to go for his second tenure.
He also called for the same level of support to the APGA Senatorial candidate, Chief Emma Nwachukwu to be elected come August 16 to represent Anambra South in the Senate.
He said his organization has mapped out strategies to mobilize for Governor Soludo on November 8 gubernatorial election and Chief Emma Nwachukwu come August 16, to sweep the votes in Anambra South Senatorial district by-election.
Nwankwo who disclosed that his Council Area of Orumba South has 18 wards and assured that Njagidi Foundation would deliver 18 over 18 for the two candidates.
He insisted that the Governor has done well in many parts of Anambra State, including his own community, Nwafija, where he said Mr Governor has transformed, adding that with the transformation, he would easily convince his people to support the Governor for second tenure.
Nwankwo further revealed that his founder, Hon Nwosu would contest for Anambra State House of Assembly in 2027 to represent the State Constituency in Orumba South LGA.
“In order to keep our foundation alive and continue reaching out to the downtrodden in society, we need to be given the opportunity. Hon. Ekene Nwosu is coming for Anambra State House of Assembly in 2027, “he added.
