Top dignitaries gathered in Awka on Saturday for the wedding of the daughter of the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Awuzie.
The ceremony, held at Wonderland Event Centre, was attended by notable personalities including Barnabas Gemade, Onyekachi Ibezim, Emmanuel Nwachukwu, Hon. Afam Ogene, and Cyril Ohanaemere (Odùméje), among others.
Speaking at the reception, Barnabas Gemade advised the couple, Raymond and Milicent Okoye, to build their marriage on mutual respect and understanding, urging the groom to always prioritize his wife’s happiness.
Dr. Awuzie appreciated guests for their presence and prayed for blessings upon them, encouraging the couple to uphold love, trust, and unity in their home.
At the church service held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Bishop Paulinus Ezeokafor emphasized love as the foundation of a lasting marriage.
