A number of critical stakeholders in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have applauded Gov Charles Soludo on his victory at party primary for the 2025 governorship election.
Top on the list is the former member of House of Representatives, Hon Engr Chris Azubogu popularly called Mr Project.
Hon Azubogu, a top aspirant for Anambra South senatorial election by-election, while speaking with journalists at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Park venue of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) special congress, said that Gov Soludo’s victory is well deserved.
“So far so good, all sectors are doing very well, in my congratulatory message to the governor on his three years in office, I made it abundantly clear that his performance is topnotch.
“I’m sure when people pass through Okpoko now, they will hardly believe that such transformation is possible in an environment that was acclaimed to be the biggest ghetto in Nigeria, thank goodness, Okpoko under Gov Soludo’s watch has been rechristened New Haven.
“I’m aspiring to go to the Senate to represent the good people of Anambra South senatorial district so as to compliment Mr Governor’s heartwarming achievements, I have the experience, credentials and my performance as a member of House of Representatives cannot be downplayed.
“I’m sure you heard what he said after picking the party’s reelection ticket, he promised to consolidate and revolutionize Anambra State, his speech is heartwarming, I pray that the Almighty God will be with our able governor, all through his tenure, he has done marvelously well, “Hon Azubogu asserted.
Recall that Hon Chris Azubogu was the APGA candidate in the last Anambra South senatorial election won by Sen Ifeanyi Ubah of blessed memory.
Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the former National Chairman of APGA, Chief Titus Anigbogu extolled the leadership qualities of Prof Charles Soludo.
“All sectors are working under Gov Soludo, he constructing roads, he is building, equipping and staffing our hospitals, he is equally employing teachers and workers whose salaries and entitlements are not toyed with.
“He has taken touts off our roads, he has also empowered over eight thousand youths in 1 youth 2 skills empowerment initiative, the moribund, abandoned Anambra State Government House has become a reality under Gov Soludo’s watch,” Chief Anigbogu said.
In his own comments, the Convener of Soludo Grassroot Warriors Initiative (SGWI) Chief Hon Rogers Orjiewulu said that Gov Soludo’s is deserving of the return ticket.
He said as a matter of fact, that Ndi-Anambra cannot wait for November 8, 2025 to come so that they give him their mandate for the second time.
“The twelve thousand members of SGWI are decampees from Labour Party (LP), we left our former political party to identify with Gov Soludo because of the great works he is doing in Anambra State,” he said.
All other APGA stakeholders who spoke with our correspondent said in unison that Gov. Charles Soludo is a blessing to Anambra State.
