ADC aspirant Ezeudu hails Supreme Court verdict on party leadership

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and House of Representatives aspirant for Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Hon. Lawrence Ezeudu, has praised the Supreme Court’s ruling affirming Senator David Mark as the party’s National Chairman.

Ezeudu described the judgment as a victory for the rule of law, noting that it ended attempts to destabilize the party through what he called “political opportunism.” The apex court had set aside the order of status quo ante bellum imposed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and nullified the March 28, 2026 convention held by a faction of the party.

According to Ezeudu, the ruling restores stability within the ADC and offers relief to aspirants preparing for upcoming elections. He commended the leadership of Mark and the party’s National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, for demonstrating maturity during the crisis.

He added that the judgment reinforces public confidence in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man.
