Hon. Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), South East zone, has declared his intention to represent Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

The declaration, held at his country home in Ekwulumili, attracted political stakeholders, party members and community leaders.

Anyaso said his ambition is driven by the need to improve representation and attract more federal presence to the area, noting the lack of visible federal projects in many communities.

He outlined priorities including infrastructure development, support for small businesses, improved power supply, agricultural support and job creation through revival of local industries.

He also pledged to focus on empowerment through skills acquisition and access to funding, rather than financial inducement.

His entry is expected to influence the emerging contest for the constituency seat.
