The President General of Nnewichi Community, Hon. Engr. Sir Emmanuel Udoka Chukwueloka, has unveiled his one-year scorecard, highlighting key achievements recorded since assuming office on June 14, 2025.

Speaking during the anniversary celebration, Chukwueloka said his administration prioritized the completion of the Nnewichi Community Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Hall, an abandoned project that has now recorded significant progress, including roofing, installation of windows, security upgrades, and ongoing plastering works.

He revealed that over ₦54 million was mobilized through donations and stakeholder support within one year, compared to about ₦400,000 inherited by the administration.

The President General also announced a six-year scholarship programme for six indigent children, facilitated through the support of Chief Dr. Emeka Alutu.

Other achievements include the successful organization of the Nnewichi Community Day Celebration, enhanced security initiatives, peacebuilding efforts, restructuring of community committees, and registration of the community association with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

As part of its social welfare programmes, the administration has scheduled a free medical outreach from June 18 to 21, 2026, and launched a school outreach programme aimed at providing mentorship and educational support to students.

Chukwueloka further called on stakeholders to support ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure at Nnewichi Community Secondary School and urged residents to remain united in advancing community development.
