Anambra 2025: Onitsha market traders set to begin grassroots campaign for Soludo

The Onitsha main market chapter of Soludo Support Group (SSG) has concluded arrangements to commence “You Need To Know campaign”.

Briefing journalists in Onitsha, the Chairman of Onitsha main market, Chief Innocent Ezeoha  disclosed that after the official inauguration of SSG in the market by the convener and national coordinator of Soludo Support Group, Hon Chinedu Nwoye and his team, that they moved into action by  getting more members to join SSG in the market.

 Ezennia of Umuchu also disclosed that Professor Soludo had performed well for the Anambra state, adding that he needed to be supported by disseminating information about his good works down to the rural dwellers who he said might not be aware of all the Governor’s developmental strides.

He noted that such tremendous achievements from Professor Soludo motivated his market to join the support group to propagate information about his good works.

Chief Ezeoha further explained that the leader of the SSG in the market is Mr Chinedu Okoye. He said that he presented the team to the main market stakeholders to evaluate before they were officially inaugurated by the state government officials.

“So far, we are strategizing on a daily basis in other to achieve best results. We have successfully established group platform for the SSG where we discuss the affairs of the group. Many people desire to join and needs the SSG uniform. We have done several meetings on the strategy to adopt as we are about to begin “You Need To Know” campaign and also scheduled for another meeting.

” Again, we have also established back up of 20- man team who are main market stakeholders and masters who will be supporting the SSG financially.  What we are preparing is grassroots campaign and people who will be going to villages, and local government to propagate the good work of Professor Soludo, “he said.

The double award winning market Chairman said that Professor Soludo was not a politician but a God-sent to Ndi-Anambra, saying that his achievements were visible and verifiable.

” The Governor has replicated in Anambra state what he did at the Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) . Take a look at good road network with street lights, employment of youths and teachers, health sector, free antenatal service, free education, among others. There is no election in Anambra state as far as APGA party is concerned. Soludo’s second tenure is sacrosanct, “Chief Ezeoha concluded.
