The Spiritual Director of Soul Revival Ministry, Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Iyke Uzukwu has identified the problem of politicians as their inability to listen to spiritual advice.
He cited his spiritual pronouncements in 2022 where he said he advised that no Igbo man should waste his resources to contest the office of presidency in Nigeria.
He said he saw it clearly in the spiritual realm that an Igbo man would not be given the opportunity to preside over the affairs of Nigeria.
He declared that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi saw the gate of the Aso Villa open but could not enter it.
“The truth is that Mr Peter Obi shouldn’t have left Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to contest under the LP in the first instance.
“If both of them were on the same page, there won’t be any room for election rigging. Atiku and Obi would have been in Aso Rock by now.
“It is Atiku that God has prepared to hand over power to an Igbo man which is Mr Peter Obi. Is it not better to answer Mr Vice President than to be just a presidential flagbearer? The best arrangement should have been for Obi to remain in strong tie with Atiku and wait for his own turn to become a President, “Prophet Uzukwu disclosed.
He also said that the problem with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) remained they built their house and scattered it. He said this had affected all their political outings that ended up in election loss. He cited Anambra State as another example.
He said that the PDP deprived Dr Godwin Maduka from being the governorship candidate of the party in the last guber election in Anambra State.
He insisted that Dr Maduka was loved within and outside his party but was errornously schemed out by those who did not know his value.
“Dr Maduka was the man destined to give victory to the PDP in 2022 governorship election. If the PDP wants to win the next governorship election in Anambra, let them go and bring him back.
“The moment the PDP stops focusing on personal interest, if the members focus on the interest of the party, they will reclaim many States including Anambra in future elections, “he noted.
He said he heard Mr Obi was preparing for 2027 presidential election which he marked as good but added that the problem remained in winning the election because of the sentiment, according to him, attached to the Igbo and leadership of Nigeria.
“You see a man that has held a whole Lagos State to standstill (apparently referring to President Bola Tinubu) for over twenty years and you think you can just wrestle power from him like that. He is one man who knows how to handle power. He understands the political game very well.
“An Igbo adage says it is easy to give a monkey water with a cup but not easy to retrieve the cup. The biggest injury the Fulani inflicted on the Igbo man was to deny him the opportunity to become a President of this country.
“Watch and see what Tinubu will do to those who think they own Nigeria. The truth is that only God can take power away from Tinubu.
“The devil can’t even take power away from Tinubu because he is a political devil and those he trained are political wizards.
“When I told Nigerians that Tinubu has sacrificed a lot, physically, financially and spiritually to be there, nobody understood me. It’s sacrifice that brought him there and it’s sacrifice that will continue to sustain him there and it’s sacrifice that will take him out. He laid the foundation long ago and he empowered many.
“If you want him to go, start doing sacrifice more than he does because there’s no success without sacrifice. The Igbo politicians should listen to that and learn from it, “he added.
Uzukwu beamed his prophesy on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South Senatorial zone who he said had made the greatest political blunder as he joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said the party (APC) would not lead to his success as he desired to become the Governor of Anambra State.
“In 2017, I made a prophesy telling him to come and contest for Senate, that victory was his, which he did and eventually won. But joining the APC now is the beginning of his political disaster, “the Prophet concluded.
