An accident victim in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Mr Sunday Ugama, has made a public appeal for financial assistance from the government, well-meaning individuals, and groups to enable him settle his hospital bill of N1,459,450.

Ugama, an okada rider, who spoke from his hospital bed in Nnewi during an interview, said he was admitted to the health facility in January 2026 following the accident.

He lamented that the cost of his treatment has continued to rise beyond his means.
According to him, his situation has been worsened by personal loss and hardship.

He revealed that his wife died six years ago, leaving him to cater for their four children, the eldest of whom is 17 years old.

“My children have all dropped out of school, and we now depend on the kindness of individuals for our daily meals.

If no one helps, we do not eat, let alone handle other responsibilities,” he said.

Ugama, who hails from Ezza Local Government Area of Ebonyi State but resides in Abubor, Nnewichi, Nnewi, appealed passionately for assistance to offset his medical bills so he can reunite with his children and resume caring for them.

He provided his account details for support: Account Name: Ugama Sunday Nworie
Bank: Access Bank
Account Number: 0725277190
Phone Number: 07067502848

“I am pleading with the government, groups, and individuals to come to my aid and help me clear my hospital bills,” he appealed.
