Cornel Osigwe (FIMC, CMC, MNIPR, CNS) stands out as a seasoned communication strategist, management consultant, and community development advocate with a distinguished career spanning corporate communications, public relations, youth empowerment, and digital innovation.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Relations. Osigwe is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR), and a Certified Negotiation Specialist (CNS).

His commitment to continuous learning has seen him undergo extensive professional training in real estate investment, sales and marketing, personnel management, career development, information technology, digital marketing, and youth development.

Between 2017 and 2024, Osigwe served as Head of Corporate Communications at Innoson Group, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the corporate image, public relations strategy, and brand reputation of one of Nigeria’s foremost indigenous manufacturing conglomerates.

During the same period, he also worked as Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, CON, gaining invaluable exposure to executive leadership, administration, and strategic decision-making at the highest level.

A digital community builder, Osigwe co-founded the Nnewi Social Media Community, which later evolved into the Nnewi Digital Community. The platform has become a hub for youth engagement, collaboration, and digital innovation, contributing significantly to the positioning of Nnewi within the global digital economy.

Through the Anaedoonline brand, he projected Nnewi onto the global digital space, inspiring a new generation of creatives to embrace social media journalism, content creation, and digital storytelling.

This initiative helped establish Nnewi as an emerging centre for online media innovation in South-East Nigeria.
Widely regarded as a crisis communication expert, Osigwe has managed high-profile reputation engagements involving notable Igbo business leaders.

His experience includes strategic roles during the Innoson versus GTBank dispute involving Chief Dr. Innocent Chukwuma, the Ibeto versus Dozzy Oil matter involving Chief Dr. Cletus Ibeto, and other sensitive corporate reputation challenges within the manufacturing and consumer goods sectors.

Beyond corporate communications, Osigwe is the Founder of Freshminds Group, an innovation-driven conglomerate focused on youth empowerment and enterprise development.

Its subsidiaries include Freshminds Agency Consulting Ltd; Freshminds Communications Ltd, parent company of Anaedoonline.ng, AnaedoTV, and Anaedo Times Magazine; Digihub Consulting Services Ltd, a technology and digital skills hub; and Maintrust Properties and Homes Ltd, the real estate firm behind Graceville Estate, the first modern residential estate of its kind in Nnewi.

Through the Digihub Innovation Lab, Osigwe facilitated the donation of the first technology laboratory to the Nnewi Tech Faculty, a landmark contribution that supported the establishment of the town’s first dedicated technology school and has since empowered hundreds of young people with digital skills.

He is also a publisher and author of three books, a prolific writer, inspirational speaker, blogger, and professional trainer. His passion for youth development is further demonstrated by his role as Executive Director of the Students Empowerment and Leadership Foundation (SELF Nigeria), a non-governmental organisation committed to mentoring and grooming future leaders.

As a career coach and mentor, Osigwe has impacted thousands of young Nigerians through counselling sessions, leadership programmes, and motivational engagements across secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and National Youth Service Corps orientation camps.

His insights regularly feature on television and radio, where he is widely recognised as a voice for innovation, hope, and progress.

With a strong belief in good governance, digital inclusion, youth empowerment, and community-driven leadership, Cornel Osigwe brings to the fore a vision anchored on sustainable development and inclusive growth—qualities that position him as a compelling and forward-looking contender for the Nnewi North mayoral seat.
