The possibility of re-electing Prof Soludo on November 8 is beginning to dwindle as most of the stakeholders and leaders in his party are dumping him on a daily basis.
While four lawmakers in Anambra State House of Assembly have already dumped the Governor and defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support Prince Evang Nicholas Ukachukwu, one of the Aides to the Governor has also resigned.
Hon. Muoneme Emmanuel Onyeka (Arise) the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Legislative Matters is said to have resigned his appointment.
According to the report, Emmanuel Arise wrote: “I, Hon. Muoneme Emmanuel Onyeka (Arise), wish to officially announce my resignation from the position of Executive Assistant to the Governor of Anambra State on Legislative Matters.”
As the governorship election draws closer more aides, party members, stakeholders and APGA officials are expected to dump the Governor.
The movement to rescue Anambra from Governor Okwu Atuegwu to a people oriented leadership come November 8 has begun.
