Omenugha Congratulates Anambra Students On Winning National Title In ICT

The Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr Nelson Omenugha has has extended his warm congratulations to the three outstanding Anambra students from St. John Vianney Science College, Igbariam Anambra East Local Government Area, for winning the 2024 National Girls in ICT title, Anambra Broadcasting Service reports.

The trio of Immaculate Ebubedike Ikegwuonu, Camilla Anyadike and Nweke-Nonso Oluchi represented Anambra State at the 2024 National Girls in ICT championship organized by the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation amd Digital Economy after emerging victorious at the state and regional levels.

Dr Omenugha while reacting to the development emphasized that their victory underscores the impact of the huge investment and reform in the Anambra’s education system and ICT.

He noted that they demonstrated the true Anambra spirit and ingenuity, adding that their victory is just the beginning of more greater things that will project the good image of the state through the ICT driven education, recruitment of quality teachers and the free education policy championed by the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration.

Dr Omenugha commended Governor Soludo for his commitment in education and in ensuring a brighter future for young Anambra people.

He further thanked their teachers who put quality efforts to ensure that they give the best which he said that has manifested already and encouraged them to sustain the good work.

Note that they won the title with the M-Tag VR project they developed, showcasing Nigeria’s iconic landmarks and cultural heritage.
