It was a great outing and glamorous moment for all the members of Marvellous Singers Band (Nkwa) Group, Obosi on 3rd March 2024 as they officially launched their band and installed Iyom Ugodinaobieze as their patron.
The ceremony which attracted diginetaries from far and wide including High Chief Ike Muogbo, Comrade Nwobosi Gideon C., Coordinator National Youth Council of Nigeria, Idemili North chapter, Prince Anthony Ezejiofor Odibe, Mr Nnamdi Egbuna, Mr Onyebuchi Emeodi (Molis) and others was a successful one.
In an interview with the group’s newly installed patron, Chief Barr. Mrs. E. N. Muogbo (Omo Iyom Ugodinaobieze) expressed her joy and gratitude to God for a day like that and thanked the group for choosing her as their patron. She also appreciated all her family members, friends and relatives who came to witness her installation especially her husband.
Chief Barr. Mrs Muogbo promised to continue throwing her weight behind the group for its progress and development. She urged the group to continue maintaining the peace, love and unity among them.
Also appreciating , husband to the Barr. Mrs Muogbo, Oghueshi Philip Omo thanked God for a successful event. He expressed gratitude to all the members of the band group for their achievements and thanked them for the honour done his wife even as he promised to work in tandem with his wife to ensure the group receive more supports.
Contributing, Comrade Nwobosi Gideon, the Coordinator National Youth Council of Nigeria, Idemili North chapter who came in respect of Iyom Nwanyi described Chief Barr. Mrs Muogbo as a lady of substance whose uncommon leadership dispositions has gained her many enviable positions in organisations, adding that Barr. Mrs Muogbo is a patron to Obomma quarters, Patron, National Youth Council of Nigeria Idemili North and so many others.
Comrade Gideon said: “Iyom is so helpful to the youth of Anambra State in general and idemili North in particular, so today I decided to give her back what she has been giving to us for a very long time.”
He, however, prayed for long life in good health upon Omo Iyom Ugodinaobieze as she continues her services to humanity.
