The Spiritual Director of Soul Revival Ministry, Nnewi, Anambra State, Prophet Iyke Uzukwu has said that those known as cabals in government circle should not hold President Bola Tinubu liable to any agreement except the oath he took during his swearing in.
Prophet Uzukwu who addressed journalists after his month end crusade in Nnewi said that the cabals would not for any reason expect the President to do their bidding.
The Prophet said those accusing President Tinubu of trying to move the federal capital territory from Abuja to Lagos were doing so in error.
He recalled that the Nigeria’s first capital was Calabar in the present Cross River State which he said was later moved to Lagos and later to Abuja under General Ibrahim Babangida’s administration as a military head of State. He noted that nobody questioned IBB for doing that.
“Tinubu has not moved the capital of Nigeria to Lagos and cabals are trying to make out something out of it, shouting when nothing has actually been done, trying to give Mr President a bad name.
“There’s no place in Nigerian constitution where it’s written that the federal capital territory will remain in Abuja forever. Tinubu can move Nigerian capital to anywhere for the interest of the country. He has not moved it to Ghana or Niger Republic. So, there’s no need for any noise, “he said.
Prophet Iyke also said that when Tinubu was announced the winner of the 2023 presidential election, that he as a prophet knew there was nothing left for him to run the affairs of the country.
He alleged that President Buhari’s administration, as revealed to him in the spiritual realm, misappropriated funds.
He said he saw massive looting in Buhari’s eight years administration. He alleged that the cabals in Buhari’s administration siphoned the economy which he said Tinubu was trying to fix, a situation he said had inflicted pains to the masses. He insisted that Tinubu was not to blame.
He alleged that the cabals used the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) the way they liked to the detriment of the nation’s economy.
“They caused the CBN Governor to issue loans running to billions of naira in the name of agricultural loan to their people without collateral and such loans were never paid back.
“They borrowed to loot and loot to borrow when over 85 percent of our federal roads are not motorable especially in the South East. What are the monies borrowed used for?
“Many terrorists now enter Nigeria through the border especially in the North, creating tension. Could they say there’s no money to fight them?
“The truth is that the Britain, as revealed to me, is the architect of Nigeria’s problems. They want Tinubu’s attention but they are not getting it. It’s Britain that is holding Ajeokuta Steel Company from functioning. There’s no country colonized by Britain that is doing well economically in Africa. What they did to President Goodluck Jonathan will not repeat itself.
“Nigeria under Jonathan was a fast-growing economy until the enemies of the country introduced Boko Haram terrorists which devastated Nigeria’s economy, “the Prophet said.
It was his opinion that the enemies of Tinubu’s administration had been at work to make things difficult for the masses to cause revolution against Tinubu.
He, however, said that President Tinubu should do all he could to bring down the price of dollar to reduce cost of living in the country.
He noted that many Nigerians are now frustrated with lower income but more expenditure.
He said that it is regrettable that rescucitating refineries in the the country had been suffering setbacks to patronize the one built by a private individual.
