“Live and let’s live”, the proverb and a tool that promotes mutual understanding among people that has sustained the social contract existing within our society as we interact and coexist.
Truely, the overt display of a man is the manifestation of his covert instinct. This is a worthy character of H.E Engr. Dave Umahi, as exemplified in his social interactions, political dealings, leadership style, and governance.
The likes of His Excellency, a distinguished civil engineer of our era with an ideology of selfless service and a guru in construction and politics, is absolutely difficult to locate these days.
Considering his pedigrees as an astute engineer and a political touch bearer of our dear state, he never allowed power to corrupt his sense of reasoning in delivering in his mandates. He is a strong advocate of one Nigeria and never encouraged victimization of any sort to any Nigerian citizen despite his lineage or affiliations.
He is highly blessed and gifted with leadership prowess and statesmanship. He blends into the spirit of “live and lets live” and is reflected in his relationship with his successor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Francis Nwifuru, which is yielding the desired results in Ebonyi state.
Accolades keep filling in from different quarters for choosing another worthy son of the land, Nwifuru to succeed him who is already showcasing his torchlight in critical sectors of the state in line with his developmental mantra of people’s charter of needs.
This is the type of relationship we canvass for in Nigeria and not the destroy, kill, and bury attitude of some fathers against their sons.
Engr. Umahi is a symbol of equity, justice, and truth. May you live long till you bring your lofty ideas for the transmogrification of Nigeria come to fruition.
We commend your leadership qualities and the exemplary character you display as a true democrat whose selfless interest is to build bridges across our societies. The respect you reserve for yourself in your uninterrupted belief would serve as a standard and precedence to other emerging politicians. Although your towering groundbreaking legacies, which have projected #Ebonyi as one of the best states in the world and a #replica of #Dubai, are consciously and rigorously sustained by our amiable Governor; HE.
