*Onuwa Abuchi, Chinyele joined in colorful wedding as friends, clubs shower blessings

It was a joyful and culturally vibrant celebration on Sunday, September 8, 2025, as Chief Tr/Dr. Samuel Chukwuma (Ezennaoma, Onuwa Abuchi) and Mrs. Chinyele Chukwuma were traditionally joined as husband and wife in line with Igbo customs.
The ceremony, witnessed by family, friends, club members and well-wishers, took place at the Anwasii family compound in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. The couple Chief Ezennaoma, from Eziora Ozubulu* and Mrs. Chinyele, from Uhuezi Egbema Ozubulu exchanged vows before their kinsmen, sealing their union in a traditional setting filled with colour and heritage.
The eldest member of the family, Mr. Joseph Anwasii, blessed the couple and charged them to remain faithful and loyal to each other, urging them to build their marriage on trust and unwavering belief in God for a fruitful union.
The traditional reception that followed was marked by lively music, dancing and generous gift presentations from several groups and clubs. Attendees included members of Omuma Egbu Nku Friends Club, One Love Friends Club, Ozue Omee, Odinala Ogomuo Ozubulu, 12 Wise Men, and many others.
Speaking on behalf of Omuma Egbu Nku Friends Club, Chief Ikechukwu Onyejekwu (Iron Gate) expressed joy at the successful event, commending the couple for organizing a beautiful and memorable celebration. He reminded them that love, peace, and understanding are the pillars of a lasting union and urged them to put their trust in God.
Mr. Ebuka Anwasii, brother to the bride, also praised the groom, saying: “I strongly believe and I am happy that Ezennaoma Onuwa Abuchi is taking good care of my sister and will continue doing so.” He prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the couple.
Other club executives present also congratulated the newlyweds, expressing their happiness and offering prayers for a peaceful and prosperous marriage life.
In a chat with journalists, Chief Nze Ezennaoma (Onuwa Abuchi) described the union as divinely orchestrated, thanking God for giving him a loving wife in Chinwele.
On her part, Mrs. Chinyele Chukwuma declared her deep love for her husband, calling him “the best thing that has ever happened to me.” She appreciated her parents, siblings, friends and relatives for standing by them during the celebration.
Wrapping up the occasion, Chief Tr/Dr. Ezennaoma extended heartfelt gratitude to all who came, especially his in-laws, relatives, friends and club members, for their presence, prayers and generous gifts. He prayed for God’s protection and safe journey for all guests as they returned to their various destinations.
