2 yrs in office: Azubogu felicitates APGA national Chairman, excos

Engr Chris Azubogu has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Barr Ezeokenwa Sly Jr (Ugosimba) and his National Executive Committee (NEC) as they successfully navigate the two years in office rubicon with so much to show for their focus.

Engr Chris Azubogu was the Anambra South Senatorial Candidate of APGA in the 2023 NASS Election; and former Member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo federal constituency in the House of Representatives (2011 – 2023).

“The journey may have been both challenging and momentous but the heartwarming results are also legion; with more very much in view.

“May God bless your good effort and avail you the wisdom to, in conjunction with our National Leader, His Excellency, Mr Governor, continue to stir the ship of our fast growing party aright until the desired growth and spread are attained.

“Hearty congratulations for justifying the confidence reposed in your ability; which in itself is an eloquent testament to the fact that focused young people in politics are prepared for the onerous task of providing purpose-driven leadership, if and whenever availed the opportunity to do so.” Engr Azubogu asserted.

While he enjoins Ugosimba and his team to keep the fire burning, the ex-lawmaker whose accomplishments, while he was in the House of Representatives, was widely considered exceptional noted that:

“Breaking the self-inflicted barriers that have prevented our great party from winning the Anambra South Senate seat since inception should be his (Ezeokenwa’s) next target and focus, as a prelude to our party’s expected resounding victory in the November 8 Anambra governorship Election.

“The path to assuredly breaking that jinx, without gambling, is very clear and obvious, as history and opportunity beckon once again, “the former House of Representatives member said.

He counselled that all that is required to make that happen is to allow good reason and political reality rule the minds and thoughts on the best and easiest way forward.

Azubogu prayed that “God, in his infinite goodness would grant the party leaders and faithful the discernment and wisdom to act in a way that would serve the best and greater interest of Ndi Anambra South, as they wait for INEC to release the timetable and guidelines for conduct of outstanding by-elections across Nigeria,”he said.
