US signals possible deal with Iran amid rising tensions in Middle East

Emergency personnel were deployed to a site in Tel Aviv following reported Iranian missile barrages targeting central Israel, as tensions continue to rise in the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

Amid the escalation, US President Donald Trump on Tuesday expressed optimism that a diplomatic agreement with Tehran could soon be reached. He noted that key members of his administration are actively leading negotiations aimed at de-escalating the situation.

According to the president, JD Vance and Marco Rubio are playing central roles in the ongoing diplomatic efforts, alongside other senior officials.

Sources familiar with the discussions revealed that there has been recent outreach between Washington and Tehran.

However, Iranian representatives have reportedly indicated reluctance to resume talks involving US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Instead, Tehran is said to prefer engaging directly with the Vice President.

Meanwhile, military developments suggest preparations for a potential escalation. Approximately 1,000 US troops from the 82nd Airborne Division are expected to deploy to the Middle East in the coming days, according to sources.

The evolving situation has also prompted global concerns over economic stability, as countries begin to implement measures to cushion the effects of rising energy costs linked to the conflict.
