The Anambra State Police Command has warned security operatives against concealing their identities while on duty, especially during VIP protection.

In a statement by Police Spokesman SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Command said unauthorized masking raises security concerns, undermines public trust, and could be exploited by criminals.

Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, stressed that identifiable personnel are essential for accountability and effective collaboration among security agencies.

He directed all operatives to remain properly identified during routine and protective duties, except during approved tactical operations.
The Command reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, accountability, and public safety.
