Anambra State Governor, Prof Charles Soludo has reassured that protection of life and property of people of the State remained top in the agenda of his government.
The Governor gave the assurance on Thursday during the 2024 ember months Campaign flag-off town hall meeting organized by the Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State Sector Command, in Awka.

She appreciated State government and stakeholders for their various synergy and support to the FRSC Anambra, and appealed for more of their support and partnership with the agency.
On their parts, Traditional Ruler of Awka, Obi Gibson Nwosu represented by the Prime Minister of the town, Engineer Benjamin Okoye, and Traditional Ruler of Umueri, Igwe Ben Emeka rated FRSC State command high in performing its statutory role of safeguarding lives on the roads.
They promised to establish safety committee in their various communities, and to also step down the knowledge garnered to other monarchs and community heads in the state for improved safety cautiousness at the grassroots.
