The President-General (PG) of Anambra State Town Union Council (ASTUC), Youth Wing, Comrade Ken Okolo has described Professor Charles Soludo as the best and most youth-centred Governor since the creation of the State in 1991.
Okoli who made the assessment in a post-insuguration of Soludo’s second tenure in Awka, Anambra State, said the last four years has shown that the administration has provided adequately and made significant progress in terms of youth empowerment and skill acquisition programmes.
According to him, not less than 60 percent of political appointees and local government council leaders and representatives is within the youth bracket.
He further described Soludo’s style of leadership as a model Nigeria urgently needs. Comrade Okoli said the transparent and sincere perfumance of the Governor was the reason the youths volunteered and rallied grassroots youth support through the “Our Youth Empowerment Solution” (OYES) initiative for his November 8, 2025 re-election victory.
He said Soludo fits into the bracket of the kind of leader Nigeria needs at this critical time.
“Anambra people must stand firmly with him. This second term is not just another tenure; it is a phase of reconsolidation; a time to deepen and sustain the gains already recorded, ”he added.
The ASTUC Youth Wing boss recounted numerous ongoing projects and reforms under the Soludo administration, saying the youths would require continuity to fully mature. He disclosed that "Soludo Solution administration" development blueprint had already begun to reposition the State as a reference point for innovation and governance.
Okoli noted that the first term in office of the Governor solidly laid the foundation, saying that what lies ahead is the consolidation of those laudable projects that will secure long-term prosperity for our people.
Okoli predicted that the impact of the Governor’s policies would soon be felt positively beyond the borders of the State.
“It will not be long before Nigerians begin to see clearly that a working solution is here. What is happening in Anambra today is a glimpse of what is possible across the country, ”he added.
He urged young people to remain engaged, describing them as critical stakeholders in sustaining the administration’s vision.
He said that the youths have aligned their activities with Soludo’s “Solution Agenda”.
The ASTUC youth leader said that Soludo 5 Pillars of Development is a masterpiece. He explained that the Soludo solution blueprint including security, law and order focused on homeland peace, strengthening vigilante groups, and reducing crime.
“Economic transformation and infrastructure aim to turn Anambra into a commercial and industrial hub often referred to as an African Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley.
“The administration has provided human capital and social agenda which include education, health, youth development programmes like 1 Youth, 2 Skills,
good governance, rule of law and value system.
“It has focused on institutional reform and changing the state’s value system, tackling environmental challenges to create clean, green, and sustainable cities.
