..IKEMBA FRONT begins 7-days mourning for its leader, Ubah
Flags at the National Headquarters of IKEMBA FRONT, the flagship political support structure of Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, was Saturday flown at half-mast in honour of its departed leader, Ubah.
The group also declared seven days mourning for the Senator whose death occurred in the early hours of Saturday in London.
Members of IKEMBA FRONT had gathered at its National Headquarters in Awka, following the news of the death of the two term senator representing Anambra South Senatorial zone and the APC governorship hopeful for Anambra state in the 2025 governorship election.
In a statement released by the group’s National Coordinator, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, it said that humanity was yet to realize what has been lost in the demise of the business mogul and philanthropist.
The release called on members to remain strong and steadfast as the objective of their mission continues.
The convener and leader of Anambra State Former Political Appointees (2014-2022 set), Hon. Owelle Onyeka Mbaso was among those who gathered at the office of IKEMBA FRONT following the unexpected news.
“To die completely, one must be forgotten but he that is not forgotten, is not dead. Ebubechukwuzor, you are not dead,” the group said.
