A dance group under the aegis of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Dance Group was officially launched on April 7, 2024 in Nnewi.
The ceremony which took place at Obi Onyekaba Nnewichi Nnewi palace attracted dignitaries within and outside the state. Some of the dignitaries were the Obi of Nnewichi, Chief George Onyekaba; Senator Dr Patrick Ubah; Hon. Nnamdi Udeaja; Chief Ernest Otugo; Chief Ifeuto Anaedo, all the Nnewi wards chairmen of All Progressives Congress (APC) and many others who graced the event.
In an interview with the father of the dance group who is the Chairman of Young Progressives Party (YPP), Nnewi North and Chairman of all Chairmen Anambra South, Hon. Chukwudi Iwuchukwu (Nzechinyelenwa), expressed joy for a wonderful day like that and thanked the grand patron and also the woman leader of YPP, Mrs Chioma Izundu.
Hon. Iwuchukwu appreciated all their friends and guests for their support especially Senator Ubah for making the day a reality.
Some of the friends and well wishers who came to witness the occasion that were interviewed commended what they described as wonderful performance by the group and encouraged them to maintain it. They prayed for the progress of the group.
