The Transformation Ambassadors of Nnewi (TAN) has declared Amb. Paul Muoneke as its choice for the upcoming local government chairmanship election based on his past leadership ability and achievements.
Amb Paul Muoneke who was the immediate past president of Nnewi Youth Forum has proven to be a man of integrity, selfless leader, great achiever which he demonstrated tremendously during his tenure as a youth leader.
Recall that Umudim Youth Development Association organized a party to honour Amb.Muoneke and also to welcome him home in grand style after serving his community with total dedication and enthusiasm.
Speaking during the meeting, Mr Izuchukwu said Nnewi needed a patriotic leader that would be ready to sacrifice for the interest of his people.
He revealed that TAN was formed by Amb. Muoneke disclosing that they were not formed for party sake but for the good and betterment of the community.
“We want to make Nnewi the Japan of Africa, this can only be possible by choosing a selfless leader, “he said.
He informed people present that there would be election soon, adding that they should vote wisely having seen what Amb Muoneke had done during his reign as Nnewi Youth president and other leadership positions he handled in the past.
“Amb.Muoneke is truthful, selfless and has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he will never fail his people, “he added.
Izuchukwu expressed his sympathy over the death of Sen Ifeanyi Ubah whom he called a warrior that left great legacy which must remain with them.
“Amb.Muoneke is coming out as Local Government chairman under YPP platform, let’s support him,”he said.
Hon.Chukwuma Orizu who also spoke described Amb.Muoneke as the best candidate for the post.
“Based on Federal Governement declaration,we need a man of integrity to use the allocation wisely, “he said.
He advised the people not to sell their conscience. He disclosed that they need an influential and outspoken person which according to him “Amb Paul Muoneke is the man”
“For quality education, infrastructure, employment, empowerment and even development, let us support a man who has contributed immensely for the development of Nnewi, ” he said.
In his remarks, Amb Paul Muoneke enumerated his achievements.
He revealed that he was able to revive the organization he headed. He said as Chairman of CBO, NYF among others, he was able to make laudable achievements.
He promised that so many abandoned projects in Nnewi would be attended to if elected as the local government Chairman.
Amb.Muoneke further stated that water as essential amenity must be provided, traders must be comfortable to carry out their businesses with ease, youths must be empowered to reduce the rate of crimes,environmental problems must be corrected all these would be possible if they support him massively.
“We need a viable leader. Let us go out there to spread the good news because Nnewi must be developed, “he added.
