Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has expressed his support for Jadon Sancho as the winger returns to the club after a public disagreement between the two last season.
VANGUARD reports that Sancho made his first appearance for Manchester United since August in a preseason friendly against Rangers on Saturday.
The player spent the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he reached the UEFA Champions League final, following a public criticism of Ten Hag on social media.
However, after a recent meeting between Sancho and Ten Hag, the winger has resumed training with the first team.
“We spoke well,” Ten Hag told Dutch outlet AD Sportwereld before United’s 2-0 friendly win.
“Everyone can make a mistake. If the player reflects on this well, you draw a line and move on.
“This club needs good players, and one thing is certain: Jadon Sancho is a very good player. I hope that we will still click and that he will contribute to our success.”
