The Life Giving Church International in Akaboukwu Uruagu, Nnewi, Nnewi North LGA, Anambra State, on Sunday November 10 witnessed a momentous event as it dedicated its newly completed church building.

The dedication ceremony was a celebration of faith, perseverance, and divine guidance, as the congregation gathered to honour God’s faithfulness in bringing their vision to life.

Apostle Marvelous Nnoruka, the church’s current leader and son of the late Pastor Chris Nnoruka Obi, expressed his deep joy and gratitude during the ceremony.

Reflecting on the long journey that brought the vision to fruition, he said: “Today is a day of thanksgiving to God. This vision would not have come to life without His grace and direction.”

The vision for the church was first conceived by the late Pastor Obi in 2020. The project officially began in 2022, but tragically, Pastor Obi passed on to glory in August of that year.

Apostle Marvelous Nnoruka assumed leadership in 2024, continuing the work of his father.

“By God’s grace, and with the support of many, through prayers and financial contributions, we have been able to bring this dream to life,” he said.

Apostle Nnoruka shared that the church’s mission extends beyond Nnewi, aiming to spark revival and transformation not just within the local community, but across the region.

“This building is not just a structure; it is a platform to spread God’s work,” he emphasized.

The path to this achievement was not without its challenges. Apostle Nnoruka acknowledged the financial and logistical difficulties but expressed unwavering faith in God’s provision.

“Every vision comes with challenges, but God always provides the strength to overcome. Despite financial struggles and the challenge of finding the right partners, God’s timing and abundant provision saw us through,” he explained.

In his message to the congregation, Apostle Nnoruka encouraged members to persevere in the face of challenges. “God-given visions will always face obstacles, but it is through overcoming them that we fulfill our divine purpose,” he added.

He also took a moment to express his heartfelt appreciation to his wife, Mrs. Chinonye Jennifer Nnoruka, calling her a “wonderful partner,” and thanked the church workers, Life Giving Church partners, and the local community for their support in bringing the vision to fruition.

The dedication of the new building marks a significant milestone for Life Giving Church International as it continues its mission of faith, revival, and transformation across Nnewi and beyond.
