The people of Isuaniocha in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State recently gathered to celebrate a new dawn in their community as Barr Mkpuorah Ngini becomes their new king,
The event was marked by joy and communal pride as the community embraced their newly crowned monarch.
In an interview, Igwe Barr Ngini expressed his gratitude to everyone present. He described the coronation ceremony as a divine blessing and thanked God for His mercy.
Igwe Ngini assured the people of Isuaniocha that he would ensure their share of government benefits would be delivered to the community whenever they were available.
He assured his commitment to fostering progress, peace, and unity in the community with the aim to bring development.
He encouraged everyone to embrace the spirit of progress and support constituted authorities as well as engage in activities that would enhance development in the entire community.
On behalf of Isuaniocha people, Igwe Ngini expressed his gratitude to Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo. He acknowledged the Governor’s efforts in making the kingship coronation successful with the issuance of a certificate of recognition to him.
He disclosed that the community was without an Igwe for over a decade.
He appealed to the State government to provide the community with its due benefits as he commended the peace within the area.
In separate speeches, Ozo Onyemazi Umeadingini, Chief Edward Okoye Akajiofor, and Nwafor Joseph Okafor Ezeani Isu expressed their happiness and relief that the long-awaited event had finally taken place.
They thanked God for making it a reality and prayed for long life and divine wisdom for the Igwe and peace for the community.
They also expressed the hope that Igwe Ngini would work with the Anambra State government to improve the community with better roads, sufficient infrastructure, and other benefits.
