I’ll attract developmental projects to Obiuno- newly elected PG, Louis Obi

The newly elected President-General of Obiuno Community in Otolo, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Sunday Louis Obi, has celebrated his victory in the just-concluded election, promising to attract developmental projects that will uplift the community.


Speaking with journalists during a victory celebration, Obi assured members of the community that his administration would build on the achievements of his predecessors.


He said his leadership would focus on attracting projects that would enhance the development of Obiuno community and make it one of the most outstanding communities in Nnewi.


According to him, his leadership would be anchored on God Almighty, whom he described as the giver of wisdom and the sustainer of life, adding that no leader can succeed without God’s guidance.


“Whatever you want to do as a leader, do it with a human face and ensure that nobody is left behind and God will bless and support you,” Obi said.


He further promised to lead the community with peace and joy.


“I promise to lead my people with peace and joy. I have my agenda, but whatever God approves is the one I will do for my community. I pray that God will give me the zeal to accomplish all my plans,” he added.


Obi also appreciated some prominent members of the community for their support. He specially mentioned Chukwumankonye Neme, Omekannaya and Mr. F. C. Agusionu, among others.


The event attracted various Nnewi indigenes, friends, well-wishers and invited guests. Eating and drinking formed the high point of the celebration as guests gathered to rejoice with the newly elected community leader.
