The effect of Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah’s presence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to attract new entrants into the party in Anambra state.
The latest entrant is the former elected Council Chairman of Ihiala LGA, Hon Chinedu Ukachukwu (Akunnee), who also doubles as the Deputy National Coordinator of IKEMBA FRONT.
The brief ceremony organized by the APC Ihiala in conjunction with IKEMBA FRONT to receive the former Council Boss, had in attendance, major stakeholders in Ihiala LGA, including a former house member, Barr. Sam Anyakoha.
Addressing the gathering, the National Coordinator of IKEMBA FRONT, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, commended Hon Chinedu Ukachukwu (Akunnee) for the bold step in joining the party of the moment, APC, and said that it was people in a political party that created the image that carried a party and as such that the entry of Hon Ukachukwu, would further strengthen the party in Ihiala and in Anambra state.
Sir Awogu who was accompanied by the national leadership of IKEMBA FRONT encouraged all members of the APC to develop winning mentality assuring that APC would exit the statutes of opposition party in Anambra state by 2025.
Speaking on behalf of Ihiala APC, Barr. Anyakoha, while welcoming the members of IKEMBA FRONT, said that the grassroots was waiting for Senator Ubah, saying that Ifeanyi Ubah remained a name that would win election for APC in Anambra state, adding that the grassroots was waiting for Ubah’s emergence as APC flag bearer.
The event saw the issuing of membership card of APC to Hon. Ukachukwu by the Ihiala LGA APC chairman, Hon. Siasia Obinakabo.
