An Inaugural meeting of the Anambra All Progressives Congress (APC) consultative council has been convened at the instance of the State leadership of the party at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja with Sir Basil Ejidike as Chairman.
Ubahanation Media Center reports, that the purpose of the party’s consultative council In Anambra state was to reposition the party and change its narrative as it prepares for 2025 governorship election.
The report said the strategic meeting also discussed Issues of internal cohesion among party stakeholders in Anambra state and the need for synergy between the leadership of the party, party stakeholders as well as party faithful.
According to the report, donations were made during the event running Into millions of naira to help the smooth running of the party.

The consultative council was also vested with several tasks towards ensuring that the party wins the 2025 governorship election. Some of these tasks include:
• Visit to the 21 LGAs in Anambra State;
• Fresh and continuous registration of party members tailored on polling units;
• Organization of seminars;
• Visit to Federal Government project sites within the state;
• To arrange for a high-powered visit of the National Chairman to the state.
