The National Youth leader of IKEMBA FRONT, Dr Charles Ebulue has categorically said that anybody advocating that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should emerge from Anambra North does not mean well for the party and obviously a paid agent to see that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu loses Anambra State to another party in 2027 general election.
He declared that advancing such an idea could be likened to drinking a wine with a poisoned chalice for APC. He added that those advocates should not forget in a hurry that Anambra North had just finished eight years in power under Chief Dr Willie Obiano.
“Let us not shoot our party, APC on the foot. Aren’t we tired of being outside Anambra State Government House and always in the cold?
“The only guaranteed way for APC to lose the Anambra State election in 2025 to the incumbent APGA government of Prof Charles Soludo is by choosing its candidate from outside Anambra South.
“Choosing from Anambra South is the natural zoning order, whether written or unwritten for APC in Anambra state come 2025.
“That right leader with proven capacity and sagacity, the only survivor of the obidient tsunami of 2023 general election in Anambra State, winning back to back as a Senator with more Federal and State legislatures under his laurel is Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.
“Senator Dr Ubah of the APC is the only candidate who can defeat Prof Soludo of the APGA, come 2025. governorship election.
“Know this and have peace, “he concluded.
