An industrialist and oil mogul, Chief Chidi Amamgbo (Okosisi Ihiala) has said that he joined the Anambra South Senatorial by-election for the interest of the constituents who he said had suffered poor representation over the years.
Chief Amamgbo whose political mantra is “Let us rebuild Anambra South for prosperity, unity and sustainable development” under the Labour Party (LP) promised to make a difference in his political representation.
Fielding questions from newsmen, yesterday, at Ozubulu, Ekwusigo local government area, Anambra State, Chief Amamgbo said he had come to serve and would remain transparent and accountable throughout his tenure.
He promised to hold quarterly town hall meetings, to ensure participation of his constituents in his tenure as a lawmaker.
He assured to prioritize the needs of his people and allow them to voice their opinions with the assurance everything he does would reflect the needs and expectations of the people of Anambra South.
Chief Amamgbo who is also a lawyer promised to ensure infrastructure development of all the seven local government areas of the zone.
Chief Amamgbo is a man of good character, tested and trusted. A man of the people with integrity and philanthropic gestures and generosity.
He has empowered many in the oil industry, education and in legal administration.
He is an international businessman of great repute .
