The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Anambra state chapter, Sir Basil Ejidike has expressed the preparedness of his party to win forthcoming governorship election in the state.
A statement by the Director of Publicity, APC Anambra state, Chris Udeze said Ejidike disclosed this at the South East stakeholders meeting in Abakiliki.
Ejidike called for support from the party at the national level in improving reward system in order to encourage party faithful to work spiritedly towards the success of the party.
The former Secretary of The Federal Government Senator Pius Anyim who was formaly received into the APC by the national chairman of the party the previous day, graced the occasion.
The national chairman of the APC, Gadunje led the National Working Committee to the stakeholders meeting.
Also present at the meeting were the two governorship aspirants of APC in Anambra, Sir Paul Chukwuma and Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Uba; the Governor of Imo state, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma; the host Governor, His Excellency, Ogbonnia Nwufuru and the state party chairmen of APC in Imo, Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi states, among others.
