The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) has announced September 28, 2924 as a date for local government elections in Anambra State.
In a statement circulating online dated August 12, 2024 and signed by the State Chief electoral officer, Genevieve Osakew Esq, ANSIEC informed all registered political parties and general public of the date to get prepared.
The electoral body said election time table of activities and other details could be collected from headquarters of the ANSIEC, Awka from Wednesday August 14.
