The Soludo Grassroot Warriors Initiative (SGWI) has reassured its preparedness to mobilize votes for reelection of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in the November 8 election in Anambra state.
Convener of SGWI, Rogers Orjiewulu gave the assurance during a crucial meeting to strategize on massive victory for him.
The meeting which held in Awka witnessed Coordinators of the 21 local government areas putting heads together to plot an overwhelming victory for the incumbent.
Speaking during the meeting, Orjiewulu described the position of Governor of a State as too sophisticated to gamble with.
He said most of those contesting against the incumbent are non starters, warning that people of the state cannot afford to have “learners” take over the governance of their beloved State.
Orjiewulu further described composition of the group’s LGA coordinators, stakeholders and members of the group as political machinery ready to crush opposition, praising them for their faith in the current administration.
His words, “Gov Soludo has done so well that he has been accorded the title of Olu-Atuegwu by traditional rulers of the three senatorial zones in Anambra State.
“The title symbolizes the pragmatic governance occasioned in Anambra State by renowned Prof of Economics.
“Since the governor has done so well in his first term, it is only normal for Ndi-Anambra to graciously support him for second term. After all, reward for hard work is more work.
“Besides, the axiom that you don’t change a winning team will for ever remain constant.
“Soludo distinguished himself as Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria. He played a pivotal role in the stabilization of the banking sector which all Nigerians are enjoying today.
“With what SGWI is doing in the 21LGAs of the State, Soludo will emerge victorious before noon on November 8.”
