Leader of Biafra Independence Movement, BIM and Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (BIM-MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has congratulated the Government and people of the United States of America over what he described as their peaceful presidential poll on Tuesday.
Chief Uwazuruike said the election of a republican party’s candidate, Donald Trump had clearly demonstrated that America is truly the biggest democracy in the world.
Uwazuruike in a press statement signed by his Director of information, Mazi Chris Mocha, wished that God would grant the President-elect, Mr Trump, the strength and wisdom to make the world a better place to live in, and to ensure that terrorists, dictators and corrupt leaders would have no place to hide.
“We in the BİM-MASSOB currently struggling for the independence of Biafra through non-violent methods look up to the United States for our emancipation from Nigeria.
“A free State of Biafra will assist America in the global war against terrorism and other vices that portend danger to the free world.
“Your victory as a republican party’s candidate in the keenly contested poll, on Tuesday, was a global challenge that is now expected to bring lasting peace, liberty and freedom to the darkest corners of the world particularly in Nigeria.
“Trump’s election is a victory for true democracy, and it is in line with democratic principles, “Uwazuruike concluded.
