Anambra State Director of State Anti-Touting Squad (SASA), Mr Solomon Onwuemene has disclosed that he is one hundred percent member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Reacting to what he described as a recent fabricated audio by one Mr Chinedu Okadigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligning him with the party, Onwuemene expressed shock at the level of desperation of some people who he said could stop at nothing to achieve their unholy desire.
He maintained that he had not met the said Okadigbo in recent times, neither did he have anything to do with the said party, saying that Awka North Local Government Area remained strictly APGA.
Onwuemene advised the public, especially the good people of Awka North Local Government Area, APGA faithful from the national level led by Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa down to the wards to disregard the audio by Okadigbo who he described as someone chasing shadows.
“I’m committed to supporting the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo who as a game changer has brought unprecedented human and infrastructural developments in the State.
“The opposition are just trying to blackmail genuine APGA members who they believed will stop them from winning any election in the council area.
“I appeal to the people of Awka North Local Government Area to come out enmass and vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the September 28 Anambra Local Government election to consolidate Governor Soludo’s sterling leadership in the council area.
“We will continue to discharge our duties effectively and efficiently to ensure that touting and all other forms of social vices are completely eradicated in the State in line with Governor Soludo’s quest of building a liveable, secure and prosperous homeland,” he added.
