Bishop Nwokolo pays bills for DMGS building collapse victims, provides upkeep

The Bishop on the Niger, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Nwokolo has visited the victims of the collapsed centenary building at the Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS), Onitsha, Anambra state.

Nwokolo visited the victims, yesterday evening, upon his return from his travel outside the state.

On his arrival, the Bishop inspected the site and had inquisitive interaction for firsthand information on the unfortunate incident. The Bishop after the interaction offered prayers to God over the incident and those affected.

Nwokolo then went to the University on the Niger Teaching Hospital, Iyi Enu to see the recuperating survivors of the incident.

He had interactions with the survivors and prayed for them. He confirmed that the Diocese on the Niger had provided funds for their medical bills and daily upkeep.

The survivors who were in a stable condition appreciated the Bishop for the visit and prayers while commending the level of professional medical care by the staff of the teaching hospital, Iyi Enu.
