114,000 virgins, followers of OO Obu to embark on purity, unity procession

No fewer than 114, 000 virgins of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, (BCS) will embark on special procession around its world headquarters, Calabar, the Cross River State capital to purify the land and for unity of Nigeria.

The BCS Deputy Spokesman, Archbishop Emmanuel Ekuri while briefing newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital said the procession involving members of 114,000 virgins, was among the organization’s lineup events to mark the 2024 celebration of the Divine Manifestation of the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.

He said: “We therefore invite all Christians to join us in fasting and reflecting on the humility and selfless sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. This will be observed in all Bethel’s of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in the world. There shall be a special procession around the BCS world headquarters by the members of the 144,000 virgins.”

The BCS spokesman emphasized the need for Nigerian leaders to channel their efforts toward impacting positively the citizens of the country with love and unity in their various offices.

Ekuri underscored that these virtues, in line with the teachings of BCS founder Olumba Olumba Obu, remain essential for societal progress, especially in these challenging times in the country.

He advised leaders to seek divine intervention and turn to God for peace, advocating that true peace can only come from a higher power.

He said the BCS has outlined a series of activities leading up to the commemoration of Olumba Olumba Obu, including the Leader Olumba Olumba Obu Annual Public Lecture in Port Harcourt and the Celebration of the Divine Manifestation in Calabar.

These events, according to him, were targeted to foster unity, showcase acts of charity, and promote the teachings of love and servitude.

He noted that the BCS’s message resonated with both members and non-members, with many eagerly anticipating participation in the upcoming events.

Ekuri contended that as the year draws to a close, the BCS’ call for unity, love, and adherence to godly principles serves as a rallying cry for all Nigerians to work together towards a brighter future. He equally advised Nigerians and other people around the globe to embrace unity and love to ensure a progressive society, with meaningful impacts during their lifetime.
